Our ladies from the off were on their game and on the front foot but it looked like both teams were looking threatening going forward.
Becky broke the deadlock with a great shot (1st goal of the season) and we continued on the front foot, playing some great football.
Against the run of play, Socrates equalised with a good finish and the 1st half ended all square.
The team talk at half time was to do much of the same and we started the 2nd half strongly, and again, the football played was great to see.
Socrates again looking menacing going forward and were rewarded with their 2nd goal but our heads didn’t go down and we kept probing for the equaliser which came with a fantastic move and another great finish from Aaliyah.

Again, some great passages of play led to our 3rd goal, again Aaliyah with a brilliant finish.
We soaked up a lot of pressure from corners and long shots but our 4th goal came following a great move from midfield into Aaliyah to top the game off with a hat-trick

This result was coming and the performance was well deserved and a big shout out the a fantastic team performance.

Daisy, Evie, Morgan and Skitt were all immense in defence.

Midfield of Abbie, Helen, Rihanat (who locked up their best player) Kez and Becky with lots of energy were also immense again.

Forward line of Aaliyah, Lily and Ruby caused Socrates defence lots of problems and thanks to Claire too who didn’t get on the pitch but was cheering the team on with lots of energy.
