Again we came out of the traps on the front foot, playing great football and matching Chesterfield in all areas of the pitch.
With a centre half pairing of Evie and Morgan with Abbie, Miami and Chioma, and to complete the midfield defence we had Rihanat,Becky,Aoife and Kez all made it difficult for the opposition to make much headway.
Against the run of play Chesterfield scored the opening goal but we didn't stop and kept probing for that equaliser.

Our team talk at half time was to keep playing as they were the goal will come and ww started the 2nd half as we finished the 1st, again on the front foot.
Chesterfield created a few chances with Laura making some great saves to keep it at 0-1 but we also created our own great chances with Emily, Lilly, Aaliyah, Ruby and Jas all playing part in a front line. With a bit more luck, the score could have been different.
Chesterfield added their 2nd goal and then pushed forward, looking to score again, which they did with their 3rd goal.
We couldn’t fault the effort and application of the whole squad today.
